Meyer Kicks Off 2010 Season

Meyer will kick off his 2010 season today in Panama at the Nationwide Panama Claro Championship. He is set to tee off at 1:00 pm off of the 1st tee box at the Club de Golf de Panama. The par-70, 7,123-yard Panama Golf Club played to a scoring average of 71.683 last year, giving it the distinction of being the toughest course on the Nationwide Tour in 2009. This was the third time in six years (2004, 2008-09) the club was the most difficult test on Tour. The field of 138 includes 14 leading players from the final 2009 Tour de las Americas money list. Last week Meyer stated, “I am ready to start the season and feel very confidant in my game. This year has already been exciting for my family; we had our first child, Elizabeth, on Valentine’s Day! I can’t wait to see what else is in store for us this year and my first goal of the season is to win this tournament.”
